Crazy dreams and possible meanings

Last night I had a dream that I died. My family was at the house we lived in growing up and that my ex and I lived in after my dad died. I was sick and they said today would be the day. They cut these things out of my throat and I was carrying them in my hand. I was talking to my younger sister (she's my beneficiary on my annuity) and I told her I wanted her to take some of money and have me cremated and my ashes to be scattered around the firepit and the rest to be scattered at a beach and she could take her boys and have a vacation. Then I was talking to my older brother and told him he could have my jeep but I wanted him to keep it in the family. He said he didn't want it.

Then I saw my cousin who is dead and she was waving to me to come with her. I ran to the house and my family was leaving and no one could hear or see me. I tried talking to my nephews but nothing.

I woke up more than a little disturbed and even got a bit choked up when telling my mother about it. She said maybe it's a premonition. I'd better get my affairs in order.

I wanted to add, I too have often had dreams where I was about to die or dead..these dreams troubled me also but after many years ive come to the conclusion that for the most part they signify some kind of transition..not any one kind but something of a significant & personal nature in my life..i hope you are feeling better

Thank you, kittygrrl. I am definitely at a crossroads so that makes sense. I have spent more time with my mother and the rest of my family in the last 30 days than I have in the last few years. It's nice but also overwhelming. I need to decide whether to stay or return to Atlanta. Decisions, decisions.

Someone else suggested no cheese before bed. Probably a good idea as well.
