An older friend of mine who fell a couple times last month is all healed up and back home from rehab so I’m going over later to get him and take him to church. Meanwhile my morning is just going slow and lazy as I finish up drying a last load of clothes, heat water so I can French press up some coffee, and work on doing a little ironing.

Spring break for Red! I only have a weeks vacation this year so we are taking mini trips. Going to Memphis in May, then a few instate long weekends. I love the extra light, love being outside. One more freeze on the way then it's hands in the dirt.

Happy Sunday! I went grocery shopping on an empty stomach, bought stuff I don't usually buy (pork chops, corned beef brisket, freshly baked rye bread), but it's all good
 .Right now I'm folding clothes, watching Tamron Hall and the talking heads, drinking water, and wondering what to eat for breakfast. I might do my taxes and I might not. Not driving on the freeway this weekend, just playing it cool. I expect to have a good week and hope y'all do, too!

A lazy day for us....
I got up early and fed the pets, made breakfast and coffee and took our friend to Church. My sick honey stayed home to rest. After Church I took our friend out to lunch (45 minute wait), then stopped for medicine at the local cvs for my honey. I'm doing laundry and starting dinner now...yep, Sunday overeasy! Lolololol |

No such thing for me this morning. I was up early and got at 'em right away.
Laundry, spray painting a metal shelving unit, resetting clocks, breakfast, taking care of the  and his box, unloading and loading the dishwasher, putting together the new vacuum, vacuuming an area to make sure I put it together right and tidying up in general comprised the majority of my morning. I also had to run to the store to get more spray paint because one of the cans was not working properly.
