Jo's Kitchen (and yes, the coffee IS on...)

Good evening my hunies and homies.....and woooot wooooot it's the weekend!

The fondue is bubbling away...and I've been busily cubing some beautiful french bread and lightly blanched veggies for the dipping. Remember...if you drop your food in the fondue you have to

someone else....so spear carefully (or not

) I've got a few bottles of white zinfandel chilling...but feel free to bring a favorite if you prefer.

Dessert is chocolate fondue (with a teensy shot of Grand Marnier just cuz)...with pound cake, strawberries, fresh pineapple and bananas for the dunking. There are fresh raspberries too, but they don't dunk well...so feel free to dip up some chocolate and drizzle on those.

Fresh pot of coffee is on

and the Kahlua, Baileys and Grand Marnier is on the tray too....cuz hey...it's Friday

mmmmm sounds like fun! But I have a tummy ache so Daddy is going to take care of me tonight and we are just going to relax and veg out...

Scootebaby I swore you said you were going to get a "nap" and pull up a chair... I thought how you gonna sleep and sit infront of fondue.. you might fall face first into it! lol....

Ok, so I just watched this weeks Private Practice and balled like a baby.... Now I need to see next weeks Greys Anatomy! Ohh my gosh the commercials make me crazy cause I wanna see it NOWWWWW!!!

So, Daddy got offered the job he applied for! He starts Tuesday! I looovvveee the fact that their schedule backfired on them... his 2 week notice will have him off 7 days during his 2nd week (insert snicker here) so he gets to work one week early for his new job while giving 2 week notice to his current job!! YEAHH!!! Its full time, insurance is 1/3 what it is costing him now... I am so excited for him!!

It is 2nd shift so I may be haunting this thread at night.. I feel right at home here... thanks for having such a comfy place to sit and rest... and eat! Oh, and listen to musicman when he is able to play...

lol Becca(it is ok i call you that right?) falling asleep in chocolate would NOT be a bad thing to me...plus i know my honey would come get me before i actually drowned

congratulations to you Daddy on the new job...i wish i could get one,but hard to make what i do with a somewhat flexible schedule anywhere else..*shrugs*

and i think this thread needs some more nighttime action..and it is warm every night so im thinking swimming pool,jacuzzi,a fire pit,good company every now and then life would be even better
