Lighting a candle for my oldest dog Brandy. Had to rush her to the vet first thing this morning. The meds they put her on for the CHF were helping, she was just there on Thursday and the vet was happy with the improvement. But she woke up this morning coughing bad and now has to have her Lasix three times a day, and more heart meds were prescribed. She is still her usual hyper self, still has a lot of life in her to even think about putting her down. But I made it clear to the vet I do not want her to suffer. When the time comes, we will know. My spouse and I are devastated. Please say a prayer for Brandy.

Lighting a candle for our neighbors in Alberta Canada. Some 88,000 have been evacuated, and no telling how many are hurt or have been killed due to this raging fire. Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts.

Lighting a candle and requesting prayers for our dog with CHF, Brandy. She suffered a mini-stroke during the night, and we rushed her to the vet early this morning in our pajamas. The vet gave her steroid injections and said she may get better in a few days, or she may get worse. Only time will tell. I have to take her back in a week. We are praying she will be ok, but if not we will have to think about putting her down. I will not let her suffer.

Feeling sad. One of my best buddies mother passed away and they were so close , life sucks at times.
