I confess, I am a work-a-holic
I checked my email this morning, did 30 minutes of work and now, my friends, I am leaving the house for an overnight and the lap top is NOT coming with me I am not working this weekend.

I mowed about 4 acres. I need to weedeat but it is too hot now. The rest of the day I will clean houes, cook, and do laundry.

I worked at the kennel until noon, came home and helped my spouse with her shower, cooked, did yard work, laundry, played with my dogs, sat out on the deck.

After a couple of lazy hours this morning, I did the following:
Dropped off a prescription Went to Home Depot, got a new hose and a/c filter Went to TJ Maxx to return a pair of shorts that I had ordered online but they sent me a pair 4 sizes larger than I wear-don't know how they did that but someone may have gotten a pair 4 sizes too small for them. It took 30 minutes in line to get to a person that did not do returns and waited another 10 minutes for the manager... Went to grocery store, did the shopping Back to pharmacy to get my medication Vacuumed the house Going to take a shower now. It's hot and I am tired. Need to get my filthy car washed but that will have to wait.

worked outside
found a nest on the ground..one baby bird out of three was still a live. so, I picked it up with a towel, grabbed a basket and filled it with soft greenery and the rest of what I could find of the nest, placed the bird inside and hung the basket in the tree. That was this afternoon...checked on it and it was still alive. I'm just hoping one of the babies parents finds it and feeds it. It's got spirit..would like to see it continue. |
