What did you accomplish today?

Got up

Let the dogs out and fed them

Watered the what is left of the garden (the rain storms broke a lot of the squash plants

)

Mowed the front lawn

Fix the mower (because it quit on me in the middle of mowing the back yard)

Mowed the back yard

Cleaned the mower (grass was still damp from the morning dew...so, it sticks and needs cleaning)

Went to the store

Made dog food

Made two different pasta dishes one alfredo and one vegan creamy red sauce with onions, mushrooms, summer squash and zucchini

Cleaned my mess up in the kitchen

Steam cleaned the rugs

and it's only 10:50am

Worked at kennel for 2 1/2 hours, cooked breakfast, medicated spouse and dogs, cleaned the floors, dishes, laundry, now getting ready to shower and head to work at nursing home this afternoon.

I can now add that I gave Syd, the oldest dog, a hair cut. He was acting all pathetic because attention was being given to the sick one. So, I figured he must need some one on one time. When I give him a hair cut and make him look handsome, he feels loved. He's a happy dog now.

It was a long day but it was a successful day.

I woke up alive.
I took care of my brood.
did a few projects...
fixed breakfast... lunch
pulled weeds for 10 minutes, bad move...
passed out for 6 hours...

note to self, don't f**king do that again.

worked on my crafting projects...almost done with them....

texted with a dear friend

bought groceries

went out to dinner with my honey

we got a bit of pool time in...

watched some of the Olympic Trials........Go TEAM USA!!!

Ok -- I organized syllabi/booklists for the next school year (hours!); found out info from the Principal I needed to know; picked up a repaired boot and got a skirt hemmed; got my hair done; attended Graduation ceremonies (ugh--long--but I do enjoy seeing the kids past and present!); had a few conversations that needed to happen at said ceremony.

Now I'm finally at home and want all the treats (of which I don't have and am too damn lazy to go to the corner store to buy some Doritos to stuff my face with).
