If one wants to be happy one should never get too attached to their work. Never take shit personally, never drag your work home with you, never check your work phone or emails from home or g-d forbid from vacation! Come 5 o'clock log off, run out and unplug. That's the path to happiness!

The older I get the more I realize, that you have to get rid of toxic people in your life. Friends that are toxic definately need to GO, and even though family is a bit harder to get away from, you still need to limit the amount of time you give them. Negativity is so bad for you, and needy, negative, toxic people will only drag you down.

Simple pleasures are the best treasures.
It's worth the time and effort to be good to myself.
Listening more, and talking less is something more people ought to try.
Slowing down/aging has its advantages, too.
