Recovering from disappointment...
The meteor shower was supposed to be epic. I saw FOUR in two hours... One was especially close and bright...like a Roman candle... It was nice to be out under the stars though. I watched from an old cemetery near a huge open field. The fire flies made up for the lack of meteors...and the moon is always pleasant company...guess I'm not so disappointed after all lol

Deciding what to do for breakfast...
I'm out of apples (!) so no oatmeal this morning. Out of asparagus so no fancy-shmancy scrambled eggs. Maybe I'll go to Charlie's for an omelet and rye toast. Maybe I'll go to Swammi's for scrambled eggs and croissant. Maybe I'll go to the donut shop (!) for a big fat old-fashion donut and a decaf. I think that's what I'll do. I have to work this morning and a donut is always good when working on Saturdays.
