Watching Hitler and the Nazis on Netflix. I thought the comparisons between Hitler and Trump to be pretty outta whack... a ridiculous exaggeration ... but yeah, there are some similarities... at least in the way of fear mongering.

 Cooking - turning smashed up previously flash frozen tater tots into "hashbrowns", because food wise I've run out of just about everything else I can prepare without having to resort to using a recipe. Though I'm trying really, really hard to watch my spending/save money, I think it's time to crack - get up out from under all this self imposed discipline and take myself fresh food shopping, then maybe even out for a latte. Frugal is prudent but there's no logical reason on earth why I need be this draconian about it. |

Watching this soon to be Hurricane Hermine...her winds are now at 70mph....at 75 she will be come a Cat. 1.
We do have tornadic activity in my area, and torrential rains will be coming down in next couple hours. The Sunshine Skyway Bridge has already closed due to high winds. The storm is 150 miles away..and we are on the Eastern (dirty) side of it, so have to be alert for all kinds of waterspouts & tornadoes....
