We gave our time and company to a dear family friend whose husband is dying of lung cancer. He only has a couple months to live and his wife needed to talk and vent.

I have some of my energy to others that needed a hand.

I gave myself permission to just relax tonight and to worry about tomorrow only when it gets here.

I gave too much energy to clients today. Drained and frazzled me. Lesson in balance.

I gave patience to a situation that could have escalated and gone bad fast had I not.

I gave belly rubs to my cats.

I gave a hug to someone I haven't seen in a few months, and they hugged me right back. Such a good feeling, getting a warm and welcoming hug.

I gave my time and attention to someone who has no one.

I felt blessed to be able to do it, so I gave thanks to God for the energy to give help to someone other than myself or my immediate family.

I did assessments for some seriously impaired clients today.

I don't usually toot my own horn but a co-worker told me after I saw one that could barely navigate due to intoxication, "I really admire you for the way you deal with the clients. I don't know that I could be so patient".

It made me feel good because I am really patient, no matter how they behave.

My company suports the United Way and we have a huge campaign every year. I gave for 22 yrs, then stopped for various reasons.

This year they gave us 9 different organizations besides the UW to chose from that is direct donation and doesn't go threw the UW at all.

I gave my weekly deductible donation to hospice and palliative care for my county
