What did you GIVE today?

I gave my time and attention to someone who has no one.

I felt blessed to be able to do it, so I gave thanks to God for the energy to give help to someone other than myself or my immediate family.

I did assessments for some seriously impaired clients today.

I don't usually toot my own horn but a co-worker told me after I saw one that could barely navigate due to intoxication, "I really admire you for the way you deal with the clients. I don't know that I could be so patient".

It made me feel good because I am really patient, no matter how they behave.

I have my time to my stepdaughter, who reached out to her Mom and me today.

I gave extra time to a dog at the kennel that is grieving for the loss of her littermate. I also gave an ear to my chatty neighbor, and gave my spouse extra tlc since she isn't doing well.
