Enough
When is enough, enough?
So tired of words
Upon words upon words
Of how we as humans
Should be this way or that
But never shows in our actions
We as humans have a choice
To be of a loving nature
Or to be of a wicked nature
Choice is what makes us, us
Humans
What is human nature?
Truly?
Do we have it in our nature
To be altruists?
Or are we truly beasts?
Hidden in skins of a human
When is enough, enough?
Our own Police are being used
Used as soldiers of yesteryear's
To drive the Natives of this land
From this land
Down a trail of tears
Once again
When is enough, enough?
When we as humans
Have the right to cause pain and death
To any living creature
Be it cat, dog, elephant, or whale
When is enough, enough?
Where is God with his righteousness?
Why does he allow children to be abused
And murdered?
When is enough, enough?
