Just finished making some pumpkin puree for a pumpkin pie..it's in freezer now..about ready to start Pear candy. I overbaked some pear fruit leather and sent it accidentally to some friends and they loved it. So I'm making some for Yule baskets.

I just got through sorting out some winter sweaters to give to my new friend Susie, who lives at the nursing facility where I received my PT treatments. I found four sweaters, one sparkly Christmas sweater, and a zip sweater jacket to send back to her today. I don't have a lot of money, so my Christmas gift to her, for our friendship and card playing nights and afternoons, is to give her special clothes to brighten her day.

Watching Pretty Woman while getting dressed to drive to LA to meet my daughter.
It is 45 miles. Mapquest says it will take 53 minutes. If only. I need to leave one hour and 45 minutes early to be on time. I shouldn't like Pretty Woman. Real life is not like a movie. I can overlook it because Julia Roberts is so fresh-faced and lovely and Richard Gere is so handsome. Movie is from 1990. Where did the years go?
