I wish each and everyone here on the planet and their loved ones a beautiful closure to 2016 and a grand entry into 2017 surrounded by peace, love, happiness, strength when those stumbling blocks get in your way, laughter, health, joy and so much more with new wonderful memories to be made! My maternal grandmother's line was Jewish. My mom was raised in a foster family that was Lutheran and my dad was Lutheran, ergo, we were raised Lutheran.

My youngest married a Jewish man and is raising her daughter Jewish.

I am somewhere between agnostic and atheistic but am very curious about, and am drawn to, my Jewish self.

I set a Christmasy table for tomorrow with menorah napkin holders.

I got my bases covered.

Hanukkah runs for eight days and nights, starting today (it is also Christmas Eve!) ending on January 1st.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all at BFP!

PS: Linus, how about a Menorah smilie?!
