I just woke up about 45 min. ago. I am just reading some forums and will have breakfast in a bit! It is a really nice, warm, sunny day...going to be about 80 again! Perfect!! Wishing everyone a wonderful day filled with lots of family & friends & joy! I will be packing....will be headed back South with friends for a bit until I get my own place again!! I already posted this elsewhere but what the heck...I've got two giant pots on the stove. One's got only veggies and the other has a mix of veggies and turkey kielbasa. This will carry me through until it's black eyed peas, greens and ham time.
Trash and recycling have been taken out and I opened my pressies and communicated my appreciation. I'm on laundry load #3 of 5, the bed has fresh sheets and I've made and eaten Christmas brunch. One of the many TV holiday movies has been watched and I will either continue to play them or go out to see a movie in the theatre. Not sure yet. |

A good Sunday morning, (hey I nearly made it time lol) and happy holidays to you all!
I am not leaving the house for anything today, unless forced by some unforeseen event. Sadie is stretched out on the living room floor, tired from playing with her new stuffed babies, and I am headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner because I messed around last evening and neglected to bake it then. Stay safe, and keep warm if you are in the path of that blizzard that's blowing through the west and the plains... or any other inclement weather for that matter. See you in 2017!

Merry Xmas,reading the paper then heading a few blocks away to my sisters house where my dad and nephews family will enjoy a turkey dinner.
Then i,m going to a friends house a very short ride away where she is having a xmas open house. I might have to track down a egg nog latte this morn. Enjoy! |

What a beautiful overeasy day!
We had brunch with my sister and her family, came home and napped, and then had grilled cheese and homemade soup in front of the fire. Thank you Okiebug61 for the fellowship we find here.

Today started out with me wacking my toe on kitchen stool,so now i am limping around.It snowed last nite a bit so shoveling the sidewalk had to be done.
