Alaska - I took the ferry there once (and I assume a cruise would be even much more comfy) and the scenery was breathtaking, plus nowhere near the humidity. The people there are very friendly and there's so much to do and see. However watch out - the mosquitoes are huge, they fly in swarms and hit in great droves. So don't get a flat out on the Alcan Hwy. Remember that commercial for, I think it was Off? Where one guy puts his arm sprayed in Off in a container full of mosquitoes and another in a container without Off and the arm with Off gets next to no bites but the non-Off arm gets covered in bites? Ha that's nothing. In Alaska they fly in huge swarms and hit in great droves . Forget big, Alaska mosquitoes are huge, I've never seen them so big. But the Bahamas is full of far worse dangerous insect/bug stuff. Unlike Alaska where there is enough cold to cause them to die or go dormant in the Bahamas they mostly just keep thriving and multiplying plus they have some seriously creepy other stuff there, http://hubpages.com/education/Poison...ahamas-Jamaica

For the record, I am a law abiding citizen (for the most part) girl.

If I must choose, I'd go with Texas State.... and get my lawyer to get me outta there ASAP.
