If I'm out with my friends then we're just grooving together and doing our thing.
Partnered dancing... oh I wish for a good slow dance partner leading me around! I do some partner dancing around here, contra, swing, sometimes waltzing. But I never really have a dance partner I feel like I want to be that close to for stuff like swing and waltzing or any other slow close dance. There are a lot of big dances around here where you just partner swap all night but it's largely hetero and hetero or not, I'm not the kind of person who can/wants to dance like that with just anybody. *stands here with my dance card looking around... |
