Thinking about today, the meeting with my manager, the documentation I have to provide. Sometimes we have to assert ourselves at work in ways which make us uncomfortable but it is a necessity in taking care of one's best interests.
I absolutely hate doing this kind of stuff!!! It is almost like a fist fight sounds more appealing, do it, it is done. I would even take the chance on breaking my nose again just for this whole damn thing to be over. LOL! Keeping a sense of humor is so important to me right now. Yesterday in my manager's office someone made some feeble remarks, both he and my manager had the "dread" look on their faces. I said, "Lighten up, we'll get through this, no one has to die." I received a toothie grin from manager and a chuckle. Nothing from the other person. |

Currently, settling in a poor furbaby kitty someone could not care for, and abandoned in a closed cage, here in the woods. I am an outpost volunteer for a no-kill shelter, who will come here soon to check out the poor furbaby, and to give her whatever medical care is needed, and hopefully, a good home.
