Good morning Honies and Homies,
I'm surprised I beat freyja to the kitchen this morning. She must still be snoozing since it's our last day of the long weekend. Breakfast is on, eggs anyway you like them, CRISPY hash browns for Jo, bacon, ham, croissants, assorted fruits, dips, lots of coffee, juice, Dr pepper for Scoote. Zimmy, we have yogurt, and egg whites for you.  Mr. Strutt and I hung out in the pool with Katie and a friend yesterday and then cooked out for the first time...grilled hamburgers, deviled eggs, potato salad, and fresh watermelon. It was so yummy. It's my day off and, after a quick sojourn to the doctor later this morning, I think some more pool time is in order  Have a lovely day, everyone

Thank you sooooo much for breakfast Musicman. It sure is good to see you here this morning, not to mention, enjoying the breakfast you serve. It is true, i had a bit of a sleep in. My neighbourhood was ablast with the sounds and sights of fireworks last night, and i am sure this evening will be a repeat. Our holiday today, is in honour of Queen Victoria. Her reign as the Queen lasted 63 years and 7 months, longer than that of any other British monarch before or since, and her reign is the longest of any female monarch in history. The time of her reign is known as the Victorian era, a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military progress within the United Kingdom. Thank you!! Hope you have a lot of fun planned for today to celebrate your holiday up in Canada. Next Monday is our Memorial Day, and I will be hanging with my family at a BBQ and a pool nearby and minus my friend's little boy.
