Once I discovered fresh water fishing, I never missed salt water fishing.. HOWEVER i do miss catching those big 35-40 lb bull red fish in the gulf.

I have saltwater fishing in my blood. If the fish aren't biting then go crabbing or shrimping. Some folks harvest oysters too. To me saltwater is the full meal deal.

I went on an all female catch-and-release fly fishing retreat last summer. It was so peaceful and I learned a lot!

I have never fly fished. I should put that on my bucket list.

I seem to be living the catch and release culture. Haha!

I like to shoot guns, at the gun range. I prefer the zombie target best.

Totally. Where I am from we eat whatever is *giving*. we don't come home empty handed. We throw a cast net for shrimp (can also be used for bait!) or worst case catch catfish or perch.

Back at the house the crab traps are tied to the dock, and I used to keep 10 traps out in the lake.

I really really miss the bayou.

Yep, I had a magazine reporter photo me throwing my cast net in Georgia. I have a good technique.

LOL Gosh no, Katrina caused it. Maybe i needed to get out of there.. who knows. All I know is I never want to live there again.
