oh, I was thinking that a soda malt was a few scoops of ice cream in a tall glass with soda poured over it, then topped by a maraschino cherry. I might not know exactly what that fountain type drink is called, but that's what I was trying to describe.

Oh if it's root beer soda that would be a root beer float, very enjoyable I might add
