I bought a new notebook recently to record my blood pressure readings, so that's close by. As well as an old ceramic cup, which I keep an supply of pens, pencils and what-not's like emery boards, tweezers and crochet hooks. Nail polish, bottle of aspirin, tiny bottle of organic lavender oil, face and hand lotion (Hempz, new Sugared Grapefruit, it smells lovely). Ear buds, a stack of books, and a glass of water. Kleenex, too. And my alarm clock, heart monitor and a bunch of leis from Hawaii, are draped on my torchiére lamp.
