An 11 year-old girl searches for a missing rare book from her grandmother's (Holland Taylor) library and tries to understand why her family is fractured the way it is while her mother (Kelly Lynch), like astronaut Michael Collins, goes to the dark side of the moon for a leukemia treatment. Ella's father, (Sean Patrick Flanery) orbits his daughter, as Ella befriends Miguel and Rosie to find acceptance of her mother's fate. Emotional connections are reshaped, and the music of Patrick Neil Doyle helps tell this unusual story.

This synopsis does not do the movie justice! I really enjoyed it!

We've watched several movies this weekend, both old and new.

I'm currently trying to watch Le Divorce but I'm struggling. It has actors that I usually enjoy but it's hard for me. I'm not a big fan.

Star Wars The Last Jedi - won’t give spoilers, but we enjoyed the movie. The dialogue and visual treatments given to Carrie Fisher’s scenes was haunting and surrreal to me; I cried. -K
