I always start my day with water. I'm not the type that can wake up and eat right away. I feel as though my stomach needs to wake up and sometimes it takes awhile to even feel hungry to eat. Even if I were to have a smoothie or fresh juice I wait until much later in the morning which is often closer to noon. So when I say I'm having breakfast it's really lunch.

I collect vintage cameras. They don't all work but the ones that do, I shoot with every chance I get. I love the idea of shooting film through a camera that's fifty years old and wondering what it's seen before I've looked through it. It's magic.

I woke up at 4:30 ish AM ~ let the dogs out and they both came in and we all cuddled up in this frigid weather ~ I started singing to them The Aerosmith song "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing " rubbing their faces till they fell back into a deep sleep ~ I love the serenity I have with my animals, I know a lot of you share this in your hearts.

My desk is full of an odd assortment of things: my camera lenses, a stuffed bunny in a kimono, a walking matzoh ball wind-up toy, fingerless gloves, a crystal ball with a dolphin inside (gift), a statue of Ben Franklin, a poster of The Who, an Ernie PEZ dispenser. I'll stop there.
