Watched Valerian last night... bleh!
 Through the entire movie I was like... "What's wrong with this thing?!" I couldn't put my finger on it ... besides the lead character was as bland as room temp water. And I was wondering ... why does he sound like a Keanu Reeves?! I searched for a review ... yup, that was it! I say again... bleh!! The only savings bit was the special effects and the people of the planet Mül. I wouldn't mind living on their planet. Neat!  |

Though it was about 2.5 hours, it didn't feel too long. The fight scenes were cool and there was more humor than I remembered but there were several scenes that I was like, "doh!" towards different characters. I can't stand characters making stupid choices. I'm super judgmental about the lives of others, especially fictional characters.
