How many hours of sleep did you get last night?

Maybe two hours... I was worrying about a mistake I made at work yesterday. I realized I made the mistake around midnight last night. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it all night. Now I'm nearly sick to my stomach about it.

I know there's nothing I can do about it at this point but I'm not so good at the "letting go" thing. My anxiety level is pretty high so I'm trying to distract myself in the arcade.

I'm like this too but I turn the anxiety about the error into fuel to figure out the solution so that when I get back into work, I am armed for anything.

Awww, Mops, I'm giving you a big virtual hug. I totally relate. I'm thinking about you, hoping the mistake isn't as bad as you think it is, and hoping you go easy on yourself no matter what.

Thanks gals - unfortunately I've been at work for 4 hours now trying to fix the mistake. I called my supervisor to update her on what's going on. I was feeling pretty emotional after not having any sleep. Towards the end of the conversation I asked if I was going to get fired over this and her response was, "maybe."

So you have just as much chance of not being fired as being fired is what I'm hearing you say. Just breathe. What's done is done and all you can do at this point is to mitigate the damage as much as possible and do your best to fix it as best as it can be done. That must have been a really hard conversation. I'm sorry it happened.
