Why, when going to meet and greet the three returning hostages, he would bragged that the moment was historic — TV ratings-wise, telling the press on hand

“I want to thank you all, it’s early in the morning. I think you probably broke the all-time in history television rating for 3 o’clock the morning!”

I'm old enough to remember the return of the Iran hostages and NOT ONE single person making any boneheaded comment close to Trumps!
