I posted this in the television line-up but wanted to also include it in this thread. It is unusual, not just because of the cultural focus on Hispanic women, the problem with the gentrification of cities in So.Cal but it is also lesbian-centered. It is one of my favorite shows.

oh, this looks good Anya! I'm adding it to my list of shows to see. Gentrification is such a terrible thing: It's hard on people, among other terrible social conditions and race related issues.

Seattle Counseling Service Celebrates Five Decades of Serving the LGBTQ Community with 50th Anniversary Gala. The 50th Anniversary Gala will take place April 27 at The Westin Hotel 1900 5th Ave. in Seattle.

Seattle Counseling Service is the leading provider of LGBTQ mental health and addiction services in Seattle, as well as the oldest behavioral health organization in the world. SCS facilitates mental health counseling as well as psychiatry and medication management;addiction services; peer education and outreach; and immigrant, refugee, and undocumented outreach.

In 2018, SCS served over 2,500 clients. 91% of SCS clients are considered lowincome by King County standards. Seattle Counseling Service is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
