What Are You Thankful For?

I'm thankful for the many people that I have met over the years. I'm thankful that they are still living and such a joy to see out and about in town. These folks were my age when I met them 30 years ago and this 30 years has gone by very quickly I am thankful for those 30 years. I hope God gives me another 30 good years, by then I expect these folks will be gone, but hope the memories will not be.

Im thankful for many and diverse things, but today I would like to number the following:

- those who listen...accompany... encourage and embrace

- the music and, the silence

- the pure expression of innocence (child's innocence)

Today I am thankful for a housekeeper who actually showed up.

I am thankful that I am still strong and in good shape so that I can move mom.

I am thankful for my friends and family.

I am thankful for mom.

Thankful I’m not in the path of any of the fires. Sending good ju to those who are and those helping to fight the fires.

I'm thankful that 8 of those boys have made it out of that cave.

I'm thankful the rain has held off for the rescue

I'm thankful many countries have put their differences aside and have come together in a humanitarian effort to rescue those kids and get them back to their Mommas
