Mandatory Hurricane Preparedness meeting with property manager.
Last year Irma went right over this building...all that happened was ripped screens off windows, torn up front awning, & some flooding downstairs.

This building is 40 yrs old & has withstood FOUR major hurricanes virtually unscathed. It IS THAT solid!

I have three meetings today all three are supervision to review supervisees oversight policies and evidence-based practice trainings. Then after work I will review my dissertation notes from my professor, prepare for the class I teach at the college, take a walk, and figure out dinner. Everything after work will include my silky terrier 🐕.

Today I had three meetings then went to the college to review some documentation for the field placements. The students I teach are wonderful. Tonight I am running some errands and taking a walk. All with my silky of course.

We're expecting storms they say, so I am going to take advantage of the beautiful weather now and swim in my pool for a bit this afternoon.

My Mom, youngest daughter and 2 lil g-babies are all coming over to spend the afternoon with me. We haven't done this since Mother's day!

That's all I have on my agenda for today

As least as possible. Class had to be rescheduled due to not all background checks were done yet.

So its nap time with the puppy.

Doing some fun for my own stuff crafts, cuddling with Hope, & maybe laundry late this evening when everyone else is asleep in the building..lol.

I have these foil sheets (copper, gold, & silver) that have premade designs that you scratch off to reveal dolphin or turtles or herons. I now have my new glasses so I may tackle one of those.

A fun day...well all my days are "fun days". That comes with being retired.
