AUGUST 2-5th Seattle Art Fair CenturyLink Field Event Center

This mammoth art fair began in 2015 under the auspices of Paul Allen. In terms of the quality of art and the enthusiasm of the gallery-goers, it's been a great success, drawing Seattle and West Coast galleries and 18,000 participants. This year's edition will also be immense, with at least 80 galleries representing 25 cities, from as close as Pioneer Square to as far as Seoul, Korea.

This weekend, Charlestown has it's annual Seafood Festival. On Sunday, there's a classic car show too. I was going to go to it today but got roped into working so that's that.

Northwest writers attend and a portion of the sales of books go to the Literary Source.
