I love skinny ties. I've had some regular width ties, and there are a couple of them I like, but I find the skinny ties look a lot better on me.

For some reason I just don't look all that good in ties, and I can't pull off that whole suit tie look at all!

Very nice, but not perfect yet. Here's one of the few people who still like the Miami Vice look. Pastel sport coat with tee shirt and baggy, pleated trousers that make you look like you're packing, true or not.

How come?
Have you tried getting them tailored?

That's the next thing I want to do, is buy a nice suit (not extremely expensive) and get it tailored once I have some spending money to do so.
