On my vacation day I ran errands, fixed mom's truck, and baked an Angel Food Cake.

Now to get after those strawberries.

Well not much worth of note will be happening around here today because I slept past noon. I wasn't really up all that late last night. Maybe it's just because my body needed some deep sleep, which hasn't happened in awhile. In any case not using it as an excuse to lazy out, know how much I can usually get done in a day from lunchtime to nighttime so determined to accomplish at least that. So far tided up the bathroom, ran some laundry, worked a bit on shopping list. Other than that not much else besides fix breakfast. Small dent, nowhere close to being done, and so the beat goes on.

Took my daughter for her road test and she passed, which is great. (She didn't pass when she tried last week)

Some tidying of the house.

Check in at work (On vacation but still...)

Laundry

Gym for daughter and I both.

Flu shot for daughter

Home to make dinner

Taking a break ... forgot to take ibuprophren (3 hours late makes a big difference) ... if I don't get rained out, I hope to get four 4"x4"x10' planted two feet in concrete in the ground. I have a new method, no jarring on the body and it is less tiring too. It takes a little longer but you do what you have to do to keep everything in tact. The pups have been out all morning helping me yank bushes with tow ropes out of the ground. I did notice Kevie taking frequent nap breaks but he stays close to the action. Jeffrey, his normal self, grabs pieces of scrubs after they are out of the ground before I have time to get out of the truck and throw them on the bed. Seriously, they are all over the front yard right now. I cannot keep up with his messy traits. I will let him have his fun ... then do one clean-up at the end of the day. Jennifer just wants me to remember to tell her how pretty she is ... needs it verbalized often. LOL!

drove dee to meet with a client, looked for alternate wedding locations (thanks Trump for shutting down the government along with out wedding venue), went to the liquor store, went to the grocery store, got a massage, did some housework, now watching a movie with dee.

I got out of the house for a bit & ran a few errands, then came back home and got busy on my research projects!

While doing my Chicago research, I came across a few new places that I hopefully visit my next trip there..
