Happy Holidays Everyone!
Tidy up the apartment/finish chores leaving nothing to do but relax and enjoy the next couple of days. Tonight Monte gets his big break in the fashion modeling industry when I park him in front of the tree and try and get a few snapshots of him sporting this adorable Christmas print stocking cap I bought him. We've already had a dress rehearsal and he didn't try to escape or rip it off his head but he didn't exactly look too amused either so we'll see. Otherwise nothing special, play online, finish up cards for the post secrets project, listen to Christmas music, a date with Netflix, good times.

So far, I spent almost an hour at work, trying to prepare for tonight's flash freeze. I was soaked, head to toe, so I took a shower and got my clothes into the wash. Now I'm dry, fed and am playing online.

This morning was great! I woke to sunshine instead of my alarm and I had a leisurely grilled cheese brunch and then got to play with power tools and build something all by myself...all while remaining in my pajamas.

Not as easy as I'd like, but not as hectic and long as my usual days so I'll take the win. I'm off to work shortly so not much of a relaxing morning for me. I did get a full night's sleep, though, so that counts for something.

Over easy is correct!
The dogs and I were outside a little earlier but came in because it is so cold. Sitting here in a chair in the bedroom eating P&J sandwiches with milk to drink. Turned the little portable heater on. My babies are asleep on the bed. |

Today has been great so far! I woke about a quarter to eight and fed the babies and then dove back under the covers and dozed on and off until a quarter after nine.
I've already watched my Sunday morning Rizzoli & Isles, had breakfast and am now playing online and catching up with my DVR. Later, there will be chores and decluttering/organizational stuffs going on. Fun! |
