Owen, My family is severely disfunctional. My siblings and nieces & nephews love me, but just don't get it. My parents are too rigid. Both my mother and father tell me that I am a failure, fat, and stupid. I think it would kill them to utter a kind word to me or about me. It is just them. I forgive them, and move on.
