Nearby food trucks pair great with featured varietals, and guests are encouraged to express themselves with free painting activities. Classic and original music provided by Seattle maestro Pasquale Santos and Brazilian band Onda Verde. Proceeds from every glass of wine sold are invested directly back into Seattle's parks. |

Check out some of the walking tours offered. I posted the one pertaining to Lincoln Park and gangsters, but there are many others as well.
A block east from the Fullerton Red/Brown line stop at the corner of Halsted/Lincoln/ Fullerton at Julia Porter Park at 2400 N Halsted. Look for your guide with the Free Tours by Foot logo! Join Free Tours by Foot as we venture through one of Chicago’s well known neighborhoods, Lincoln Park. Famous for hidden gems, hired guns, and hot guitars, our guide will lead you through the neighborhood to view the unique and residential streets. You’ll walk the footsteps of Chicago’s notorious gangsters and learn about how prohibition effected Chicago. We’ll walk through Lincoln Avenue Bar District and hope to hear the strains of blues guitars from the pubs and music venues. The tour ends at Lincoln Park, the park which the neighborhood is named after. You will be steps away from visiting the Lincoln Park Conservatory or the Lincoln Park Zoo. Reservations: REQUIRED. Duration: Tour lasts approx. 2 hours. Total walking is just over one mile (1.6 km). Cost: This tour is free to take, and you get to decide what, if anything, the tour was worth when it's done. |
