What did you watch on Netflix/Hulu/other streaming sites?

"NetFlix" ( geez, it's only 7 letters and yet every time I have to type it I go into crisis mode )

I'm enjoying another one of those police procedurals that the Brits do so very well, " Scott and Bailey ". Some 16 hours into binge watching the series, I'm still not tired of the two female protagonists but I have given up hope that they will eventually "discover" each other.

Suranne Jones aka "Bailey" is the lead in HBO's Gentleman Jack.

Set in the year 1832 in Yorkshire, Gentleman Jack stars Jones as landowner and industrialist Anne Lister. The series is based on the collected diaries of Lister, which contain over four million words and are written largely in secret code, documenting a lifetime of lesbian relationships.

I got Sling.tv with some free premium channels. Have been bingeing on ..
– Flipping 101
– Vida (started from the beginning and thoroughly enjoying it)
– My Lottery Dream House
– Killing Eve
– Defeneding Jacob

Am channel surfing right now and have landed on Godfather II for a few minutes while the beans are simmering.

Watching _The Mandalorian_. I know, I know, I've already seen it, but it's just So Good! (Disney+)

Also watching _Kim's Convenience_, a Canadian sitcom about a Korean-Canadian family that owns a convenience store. It's interesting and pretty funny. (Netflix)

Just finished _Aggretsuko_, a josei-type anime about a red bear (I think) who lives in the big city and is looking for love. Also, her passion is singing death metal karaoke. It's really funny and cute, and the bite-sized 15 minute episodes are easy to digest. I really recommend you give this one a try, if you're the rom-com type.

Last night I watched the 1st episode of Mrs. American

Mrs. America tells the story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and the unexpected backlash led by a conservative woman named Phyllis Schlafly, aka “the sweetheart of the silent majority.” Through the eyes of the women of the era – both Schlafly and second wave feminists Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, Shirley Chisholm, Bella Abzug and Jill Ruckelshaus – the series explores how one of the toughest battlegrounds in the culture wars of the 70s helped give rise to the Moral Majority and forever shifted the political landscape.

I was not as politically involved back then as I am now, so even tho I lived thru all that, I am playing catch up I guess one could say.
