It's not often I light one for myself, so today I did. I have a swollen finger from one of the cats I was trying to give a pill to the other day. He stuck his claw in it pretty deep and it hurts really bad. Yesterday I had a fever and slept on and off most of the day. Today it's not as red as it was yesterday, but it still worries me. I've been cleaning and soaking it then covering with a band-aid. I'm hoping it gets better without having to fight to get an appointment to the free clinic.

Just an update so no one worries.....saw doc, he said I have cat scratch fever and infection. Sent me home with Vibramycin. Must take for 10 days and hopefully all will be better after that.

For my beloved dog Bud who I had to put to sleep today. I got him when he was 2 and had him 14 years. We had an incredible journey together. He had a full life and was very much loved not only by me but my family. I know that everything has a time, a beginning and end but I will miss him so much. He looked at me when he was leaving and its almost like he said it was all going to be ok. I'm sure this is true but my heart still aches.
RIP my sweet Bud. I love you.

Lighting candles for those effected by the flooding in Texas and Arkansas!
Also for other areas effected by weather issues...There are many warning currently.  They are in true need of some spiritual uplift, protection, healing and support to rebuild again. Also to help those who have passed to transend quickly and to bless the families. May they heal and feel comfort they are so badly in need of. Waiting to hear from my daughter, grandbabies, son in law and his family.

I would like to light a million candles for all those here on bf who are suffering in any way..be it..emotion, physical or mental.. I know that for me this site has been a release of the everyday nonsense..I love reading the silly stuff as much as the not so silly stuff...After a while I feel like I know you...and I feel for you..I do not like to see anyone in any sort of distress.....
