1. Taking a trip to see my Mom and the fam for 5 days
2. Tiger lilies blooming in my yard
3. A new (to me) car, same make/model as my old car, but newer year, way lower miles and more accessories (and everything works)
4. Shiny, new, bigger mailbox that is firmly cemented next to the curb
5. A clean house (that better still be clean when I get back from my trip)

1) Being loved by my mom and youngest brother. And, I love them back.

2) Having time to rest on my days off.

3) Grateful for my upper education: I learned recently how to cross over into a better field of opportunity; I applied for a Teaching Certificate to teach k-12 and hope to teach by next spring.

4) I'm in my "Golden Years" (60s) and still look reasonably beautiful. *LOL*

5) We are contemplating getting married. The big proposal cometh soon.

6...saw a number on the scale I haven't seen in a long time!!

1. Finally, over a devastating stomach flu that arrived on Christmas Day.
2. Grandchildren coming to spend the day with me tomorrow! What a joy they are!
3. My beautiful dog is mentally recovering from the crippling arthritis. She’s refused to go up and down steps, even though she physically can. The last few days, on and off she’s been doing that without even thinking about it. The look on her face when she realizes she’s back inside the house is adorable!
4. Making a will with an attorney today. My husband’s mother passed away over Christmas. Made us realize we don’t have that much time to put this off anymore. It’s good to take care of this stuff while we can.
5. Seed catalogs!
