(Bad cough from lungs filled with crud, my nose hurts from blowing — blisters on my nose too; we have a severe weather alert for snow the next two days; I’ll be staying in bed after I batten the hatches down).

It sounds like I have the same thing you have, Kätzchen. The boy has it too, although his symptoms aren't so severe. I'm just trying to take it easy and hone in on the right combo of OTC drugs and home remedies. Fortunately, somebody gave me a big bottle of Jim Beam Honey Bourbon for Christmas. The Ora-Jel pain rinse that I got for my tooth is now standing double duty for the sores in my throat.

I hope everyone else can avoid this mess!

It's nice and relaxing. The weather is perfect.
I have the sliding glass door open. And Raven, the 3-legged dog is behaving wonderfully.
