I’m bumping this thread today for folks living in states lining the eastern coast of the US or even folks who live on the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane season — last we knew from NOAA before current admin of the US dismantled the weather agency — foretold a very dangerous season ahead for hurricane strikeS, tornadoes and other hazardous weather events (fires).

Please know that we care about your safety going forward. If you are experiencing hazardous weather, please check in here so we know your status and if you’re safe or not.

May peace and safety be yours during these highly tumultuous times.

It's been lovely these past few days. Late afternoon showers with thunder!

The temps are still hot. Today was feel like 102°. So not ready for the heat.

Same here, except when I got lucky and had to go out to an appointment and it was sunshiney.

Another sunny cool day with rain on the way (love it). 70F for the next few days then up a bit. Goes to hot. Weather is like a yo-yo.
