Good afternoon folks...it's lunch time and I'm hungry. Chilli cheese roll for lunch methinks with a pot of English Breakfast Tea to wash it down, anyone want a mug? Help yourselves to milk and sugar.

Incubus, what's a chili cheese roll does that have meat inside of it?? the tea I can take but I don't know about the cheese, I have lactose problems, do you have anything else beside cheese??

well i had big plans for today but by ten am my goal had changed to "don't get fired" and then by noon it had degenerated farther to "don't kill anyone"

i have been isolating in my office the last two hours though and i must say that my mood his improved and i have actually achieved some official work.

Chilli cheese is Gouda cheese with a lot of chilli mixed in...the roll is a home-made wholemeal bread roll (bun, bap, barmcake -depending on regionality). I can offer you all sorts on your roll lipstixgal, haslet? which is a meaty Lincolnshire (where my girl lives) delicacy or salt beef or maybe a little tuna with coriander, lime and chilli? All with salad and seed sprouts of course. We aim to please on the gustatory front

What kind of fare is this? Are you from Europe I have been there many times and never had a chili cheese roll. I'll take the tuna roll that sounds more appetizing to me. I'll also have the prosecco wine that is right?

Rook you can find those banana leaves in NJ I live near a large hispanic population mostly Dominican and Puerto Rican so its not hard to find. I bet you can find them on the web too. try to google it and see what comes up or I could send you some depending on where you live of course!! Anyway, dinner sounds great arroz con gandules haven't had that in a long time. I used to make it all the time now I'm just too lazy to cook it. Nice day for a latte!! have a great day everyone!!

That and the closest large hispanic "community" to me is...at best..2 hours away...
I wish I lived near one, the best I can do, is visit a local authentic mexican restaurant {and they're stuck in a very public legal problem that I find stupid at best..they're facing closure.}

Good Morning Everyone,

I went to my mom's house yesterday and brought my oldest niece and nephew home with me. She needed a break. They are staying with me until we go to Orlando tomorrow to get my niece the Hello Kitty doll for her birthday. We decided to play manhunt lastnight and my nephew came running up behind me and I started screaming, which scared the daylights out of my niece. I couldn't stop laughing.

Since Lisa is off today, I can spend the whole day with them.

yes lipstixgal I am indeed European, British to be exact. Although it has to be said my food tastes are not typically British, infact my tastes are a little odd! Now if I was talking with my own regional dialect I'd have spoken of a butty (northern English for sandwich and the roll would have been a bap or a barm-cake). The gouda with chillis in is just a type of cheese that my local supermarket's deli counter has started selling and I'm addicted to it - what's not to love about Dutch cheese and chillies all in one hit?

The prosecco we have is a rather nice example of the Italian fizz *pours out a large flute of prosecco for lipstixgal - and one for Mrs.Incubus too before I get in trouble*
