INcubus, its almost dinner time in the East Coast so it will be a little quiet for a while until people come home from work or school!! I don't know what's for dinner tonight but I'm hungry for fried chicken and biscuits gonna go get me some right now.

Seems I'll miss everyone again lipstixgal. It's 10pm here and I'm almost ready to curl up with my book (Patrick Gale - Notes from an exhibition) and a bag of crisps (potato chips).

Now you'll have to tell me about biscuits. What I call a biscuit you call a cookie. So my biscuits really wouldn't go with chicken (not to mention that I don't even eat cookies or anything with sugar)

Biscuits are like a muffin only thing they are savory, they could be sweet too. What type of cookies do you have in England I have been there and didn't have too many sweets a lot tea for sure lol!! Well the fried chicken was good to be honest and spicy. We have popeyes here Louisiana Kitchen. Its fast food but goog once in a while. And you call potato chips "crisps" too. Funny what kind of potato chips are they. Kettle cooked? I'll leave a little chocolate for ya if you want a snack

We have loads of different cookies, or rather biscuits here. Loads! Don't tell me no-one offered you a Hobnob? Or a Penguin? Or a Jaffa Cake? Or a ginger nut? I could go on and on.

Noooo none of those Kettle crisps for me, far too crunchy. I like Seabrooks Plain or Salt and Vinegar crisps although I am currently addicted to one of their new flavours, Wasabi.

No biscuits are not like english muffins we have those here. And no no one offered a penguin or JAFFA CAKE, or hobnob what are those they sound delicious!! but the biscuits are like a cake like thingy. Jo would have a recipe, its basically flour, buttermilk, baking soda or powder, some sugar I believe and I really don't know what else. I live in the Northern part of the USA and biscuits are a Southern thing and Midwest thing!! So no chocolate for you Wow that's a first for me. I love me some chocolate. G-d where is everyone tonight?? Its 6:40 pm ready to watch the telli soon. I need to be a to find these people.
