Good morning friends

Putting on a fresh pot of coffee and

for everyone...and setting out the apricot scones (they turned out fabulous...thanks for the recipe darkcrystal...I LOVE it).

I feel like baking cinnamon rolls this morning...the good yeasty kind loaded with brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon and chopped pecans. Mmmmm...

This is gonna be a yardwork weekend for me I think...the yard needs mowing, the weeds need pulling, and the climbing roses at the front of the house grew so big with all the rain that they pulled the trellis over...think a little pruning is in order

Our fireworks are tonight...the little village we live in has a nice little display, we walk down to the park about 5 blocks from the house, sit on a blanket on the grass with the other 1,000 or so folks who live here, have a soft ice-cream cone with sprinkles, and watch the fireworks that they set off over the playing fields. Definitely "small town" but lots of fun.

Hope you're all having a nice leisurely Saturday morning

Good Morning DC, Incubus, Jo. Its a great day indeed , the weather is just great sunny skies and everything!! Jo you get to see fireworks. wow that's great we have the Macy's fireworks but only on TV I could never get down to Hudson County to find a space for my car and see them over the Hudson River

anyway, today is just a lazy day, next week is school again Ugh!! maybe laundry need underwear lol have a great day everyone!!

Well took a walk for the dogs of course!! Had some nice coffee latte with some chocolate and a croissant with butter and jam sweet!! Jo don't work too hard on the lawn its getting hot out there, hopefully the dogs will sleep and I can watch tv!!

Iced latte sounds delicious Lips

I went out and mowed the front yard, then weeded the really overgrown, horrible side of the front yard...took about an hour and a half and I came in sweaty and filthy. Straight into the shower and laid down for a little bit...and now I'm just flaked out in front of the tv watching the comedy channel. Still have to do the back yard, but that might wait until tomorrow!

Hi Jo yeah the iced latte was wonderful and the croissant too!! So you laid down for a bit that's good you need it. Just talking to a nice young women via messenger but she is in Africa visiting her sick sister which I don't believe one bit. Anyway, it wasted some time for sure. What's for dinner?? Anybody? I just have my Jenny to have that's it and spinach!!
