Thank you for tapping my shoulder with your thoughts. I do use my own ceremony during the 'New Moon' (Personal Goal Moon). I write down my personal goal for the month, then write 3 barriers to my goal. These I burn them and release them to the Universe. I have found this very helpful for making affirmation for my committment. I will take your advice for writing down my anger and burn it. I am sure this will be freeing for me. I burn my 4 sacred herbs (sage, cedar, sweetgrass, and tobacco) for my prayers. I release the smoke in each of the 4 directions after I have cleared myself. Then I walk the Medicine Wheel, chant, shake my turtle rattle. The feeling I have after ceremony is one of peace and calmness. May Spirit bless you and hold you close. My ceremonies are drawn from my heritage and others' culture when it feels right to me.
