gettting ready for dinner soon and ready for that god damn internship where I do nothing!! Hope everyone's day was productive and eventful. Never made it to the city too tired to go to a butch-femme social, so sad could have used a drink for real!!

Good evening all

It's for dinner tonight...london broil, chicken kabobs with onion, peppers and cherry tomato...corn on the cob...potato salad....mmmmmm

Okay kitchen friends...big request here...

I just got an email from the realtor saying the bank just did their appraisal, which means the paperwork is now finally on the correct desk and moving forward...so I could use all your good energy, prayers, white light...whatever ya got! We're hoping to get approval of our offer and a successful closing, so I can get moved down to my sweetie.

Hope you've all had a wonderful Sunday. My mother called this morning and wanted to take me to lunch...so we hit the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's, did some shopping, then finished hauling wood out of my basement and up to the curb (that's how I recycle ). Time to sit and relax a little now.

Oh that's great Jo I wish you the best of luck and I will say my prayers that you get the house and be able to move. I know that you really want to do that!! What's the wood for?? the fireplace? You have to recycle it?? have a nice bbq and enjoy yourself tonight!!:

The wood was lumber and leftover molding from my office renovation. I had piled it all in the basement rather than hauling it out into the snow, and it had been sitting there ever since.

I live on a busy street, and I have found that I can put virtually anything out at the curb and someone will stop and pick it up. I think of it as the ultimate recycling....out of my way and into the hands of someone who can use it.

OH so you can put anything on the street and someone will pick it up that's nice to know!! I'm going to watch some tv and then its bedtime for me..been very tired lately and don't know what it is attributed to? I guess being on 1200 calories a day for so long takes a toll on the body or its school for a year that has been intense but all I know is that its bedtime early for me.

Have internship this morning UGH!! and school tomorrow so a busy week for me. It will be like this for the next 10 weeks!!

I am trying to be productive today...going to get all caught up on work, and already have the garbage out to the curb (a bit early but if I wait until tonight I may forget), got laundry going and dug out some rubbermaid tubs so I can pack a few more kitchen things.

Getting the woodpile out of the basement (which probably upset various spiders and other creepy crawlies I'd rather not think about) has made it much more cleared out down there, and I bagged up another bagful of junk and dragged it out to the curb as well. Bit by bit, I'm getting there. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates in 9 years...

Wow Jo that's great that you have done all that in such a short time. Me I just got home from that stinky internship!! All paperwork. By the time 1PM comes I ready to leave!! Here's hoping that it gets better but I don't think so, a girl in the office said that the last ten days they will let me do patients so I emailed the school about that, that is just not sitting well with me at all. Anyway, going to feed dogs and try to relax have school tomorrow and internship on WEd, Friday is the phlebotomy certification exam, still have to study for that as well.

It was another scorcher here in Florida and I am not looking forward to August and September...I can probably cook an egg on the sidewalk during those months...

I am thinking, maybe a light dinner? How about some grilled chicken, broccoli and corn on the cob? All cooked on the grill....Maybe for dessert ice cream and pie?

so sorry your internship is lame! you should report the site to the school...when i have interns i am totally not allowed to give them grunt work- they are there to have the librarian's experience, not a clerk's!

and this librarian had a great day lol- my boss was on vacation all last week so it took her the whole day just to catch up on her e-mail...i left at 2 for a dr. appt so i never saw her!

(not that i don't love her and secretly crush on her a lil, but she does have a way of trailing extra work behind her whenever she visits my department!)
