Both!
I have one of those VCRs that have both the DVD and VHS players on it and people look at me funny when I differentiate between the two (as in "Grab the Auntie Mame VHS tape to watch") but I still love those tapes (as witnessed by my housemate when I tried to sell more than a hundred of them at my yard sale). People that came obviously preferred new items because they left all of my VHS tapes and took every last one of the DVDs I had for sale. ![]() My computer is 4 1/2 years old and a desktop; antiquated by today's standards. It functions so I keep it. I can't justify the cost of getting something else when it works just fine. I do like 'new to me' stuff but am just as happy with something I got at a thrift store as a regular retail store. Frankly, I just enjoy shoppping, whether for new, new to me, or old stuff. I do love the new smell of things but prefer the old prices. |
