Gemmie's leaving for Austin either tonight or first thing in the morning......

You may want to duct tape everything down because it will be a whirlwind when she gets here!

We'll have a little sumpin'~sumpin' when we get back from The R.......

It will require a dump cake or two.

That's one hell of a drive.

When we drove up to Oregon from Texas it was here to alberquerque (12 hours) then we slept.

Then Albequerque to Salt lake city, utah (10 hours) then we slept

Then Salt lake to portland (10 hours) then we slept for days.

That is crazy that she's planning to do it all in one stretch!!!!

She's sleeping at a roadside park...THIS I do not like. But I'm not the boss of her. Today.

WOW! Gemme's car must have a special turbo-powered rocket booster, and she must be riding on more coffee than there is in all of Seattle. Lucky they make it iced here so she can come down slowly without going into greater heat shock than she'll feel already.

Well....Gemmie managed to drive through Mormon country....the mountains...and even Oklahoma, but she managed to get lost about 5 minutes from my house!

The towels are laid out for her....I'm going to make her a brisket sandwich and she will be clean and fed (and not so cranky....we can't have that!).

So she's about to be led to Chez Diva...and here she IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
