I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready for some football!! ARGH... I can't get NFL Sunday Ticket this season..... wouldn't suck as much if I liked my local teams. But, I have always been a Steelers fan. That was my Dad's team and I have good memories of watching them with him. My kid carried on our fan tradition... good boy!!!

Big weekend in Texas coming up. Rice vs UT season opener. One of my managers is going. I've been trying to get him to take me but he says he is taking his lesbian friend who loves football.

GO GATORS! :) They won their first game last Saturday, even though the first quarter they pretty much played hot potato with the ball and had to learn the basic rules of running and holding the ball at the same time. I need to find a worthy college team on the West Coast now so I don't have to wake up at 9:00am to watch my team! I just can't rationalize drinking a tower of beer at the local sports bar at that time. xosqueak |
