A room full of candles. Chants. The tinkling of tiny bells. Tired knees. Hands clasped. Head bowed. Looking to the stars. A dance. A turn around the beads. A Good Book. Our collective voice is needed ... ring it out to the universe for Syr. For Spirit Dancer. We can do this. Our breath is Life!

I have been asked by my new meditation group to send a request to love and light to a wonderful woman who is facing dialysis. She diabetic and also has a detoriating liver due to years of meds. She is wanting to fight for life and I honor her choice.

I'm lighting a candle for our Ruthie. She is going through a loss that is very hard. so, Ruthie... please know that you are being thought about and I am very sorry for your loss.

I thought there was more time before symptoms began again. She responded so well to the chemo. I light a candle today for my sister, Dolo, who had a seizure on Sunday, and probably wouldn't have told me except for my questioning why she has an appointment with a neurologist. There was something additional found on her brain, and a PET scan is pending. She starts radiation treatment on Monday.

I thought I was ready and prepared for this, but truly, I'm not. So, if you have anything left over, a prayer, some light for me, too. I need to buck up for her kids. Especially my oldest niece. A candle for them and her husband, too.

I light this candle for Dolo, her family, as well as for waxnrope, whose strength and loving nature is needed in the midst of this painful time.

In the darkest hour the soul is replenished and given strength to continue and endure.

I've been really bad about coming here to light candles even though I say prayers for all of you

I can feel the flames from all the candles ever lit since this thread started and am thankful to all who have taken the time to pray for themsleves and for others. Without this powerful prayer circle that we've created thanks to SD, we'd not have each other to reach out to in our time of need.

I've had my own pity party going on and almost gave up hope until a good friend said some things about my job hunt and I better not dare let it defeat me. So, today I pushed on with the hunt and will continue to have my private talks with the higher ups. I know with faith, hope and prayer a job will come my way.

Me, keeping candles lit at home for those in need
When you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, we're here
Keeping that circle of light and love with faith, hope and prayer

for Spirit Dancer.

the anguish felt for a health care system
That is neither healthy nor
